Towns stretching from Amanzimtoti to Port Edward still offer surprisingly affordable property prices, especially for beachfront homes and holiday apartments.

Yet the region sits within driving distance of Durban and has major long-term tourism and retirement potential. Improved roads, semigration trends, remote working and growing interest in lifestyle investment are steadily changing the market.
