WhyAfrica visited First Quantum Mineral’s Kansanshi mine about 10km north of Solwezi in Zambia’s North-Western Province last week as part of the 2026 WhyAfrica Business Expedition to Zambia.

The business expedition was organised and operated by WhyAfrica’s sister company Endorphin Expeditions.

Endorphin Expeditions is a specialist tour operator focused on guided, niche, small-group road trips and expeditions across southern Africa.
